Our team works in unison to support the holistic needs of individuals transitioning from hospital to home.We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our D Wing (Med/Surg/Paeds) Department, contributing to our mission of serving the community with Integrity, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will undertake the responsibilities associated with the role of a Registered Nurse within the D Wing (Med/Surg/Paeds) Department.
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for delivering both general and specialized nursing services and will adhere to the standards of Nursing Practice set forth by the College of Nurses of Ontario, along with the approved care standards of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; minimum completion of a Diploma in Nursing At least 1 year of recent (within 1-2 years) experience in medical-surgical and/or pediatric nursing Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Current BCLS certification ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred Training in Management of Aggressive Behavior or equivalent preferred Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) certification preferred Pediatric Nursing Certificate preferred Completion of the Baby Friendly Initiative 20-hour breastfeeding course preferred Recent experience in Medical/Surgical and Pediatric settings preferred Strong performance and attendance records Compensation: $56.00 per hour
