Position Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that cleaning operations run smoothly and efficiently within a variety of settings. This position involves overseeing a dedicated team of cleaning professionals and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and manage cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning personnel.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as repairs, renovations, or equipment replacement.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules for the team.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Oversee in-house laundry services, including laundering clothing and linens.
Supervision

Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 cleaning staff.

Safety and Security

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including conducting driver's validity license checks.

Transportation Requirements

Possession of own transportation is necessary for this role.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
