Job Title: Personal Care Aide

Riverwood Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and safety
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
