We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Automation Designer. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and a strong background in automation design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in machine shop practices to enhance design processes.
- Apply advanced drafting techniques to create precise engineering drawings.
- Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Translate conceptual ideas into functional tooling designs.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Possess knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with team members and stakeholders.
- Work autonomously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Specific Duties:
- Conduct engineering calculations to support design initiatives.
- Create detailed working drawings using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards during design reviews.
- Engage with clients and technical personnel to clarify design requirements.
- Relay design modifications to project leaders promptly.
