Furniture Handler

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Handler to join our team at Affordable Mattress & Furniture. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials with care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas, ensuring accurate inventory and minimal damage.
- Operate basic material handling equipment to move products and materials within the warehouse.
- Read blueprints and instructions to determine product dimensions and material requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Install, lash, and secure goods for transportation and storage.
- Transport and distribute materials and goods to customers and within the warehouse.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- English language of work.
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
