We are seeking a skilled Furniture Handler to join our team at Affordable Mattress & Furniture. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
  • Move products and materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine the correct placement of products and materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
