Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Terrasse La Fringale as a Cook's Helper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet the high standards of our restaurant.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is free from clutter.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients to meet the demands of our menu.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to customers' needs and ensuring their orders are fulfilled promptly.
Work Environment

As a Cook's Helper at Terrasse La Fringale, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity. You will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) on occasion.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
    • Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, and dependability are also highly valued.
