Position Overview:
As a crucial member of our healthcare team at Indemand Care Healthy Agency Inc, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to patients across various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient support in diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals and home care settings.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, promptly reporting any significant changes.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and execute individualized care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding healthcare practices and disease management.
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid HCA license in Alberta.
- Demonstrated experience in patient care across various healthcare settings, including Long-Term Care and home care.
- Knowledge of geriatric and palliative care principles.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and protocols.
- Experience with pediatric patients is advantageous.
- Ability to provide care for patients with dementia and cognitive impairments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Capacity to work independently and make informed decisions based on clinical judgment.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of patients and varying work schedules.

Essential Skills:
- Proficient in patient care techniques.
- Experience in assisted living and home care environments.
- Knowledgeable in pain management and geriatric care.
- Competent in providing dementia care.

Additional Information:
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
- Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $30 - $33.00 per hour
Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Additional Compensation: Overtime pay available.

- Flexible shifts including 12-hour, 8-hour, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.
