Job Summary:

Ocean Aviation Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our flight operations team, ensuring the smooth execution of flight schedules, and maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager/Chief Pilot and Maintenance Manager in all operational activities, including flight planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Assist aviation operational staff with day-to-day flight planning requirements, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Carry out assorted duties associated with office management for the day-to-day operational needs of the flight department, including generating reports and providing analysis on usage.
  • Coordinate charter and commercial flights, as required, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as liaison for guest aircraft when visiting the hangar, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Coordinate Accounts Payable and act as an initial point of contact for account inquiries, maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Manage the corporate aircraft schedule, providing schedule change communication to flight crew and maintenance engineers, and assist with flight planning details and required documentation.
  • Act as liaison with businesses in coordinating/scheduling flights, handling inquiries to the schedule or general questions on flight details.

Requirements:

  • Community college diploma or undergraduate degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate travel, with experience in the dispatcher/scheduler/flight follower sector of corporate aviation considered an asset.
  • Experience booking corporate travel, corporate aircraft, and accommodations is also considered an asset.
  • Previous work experience demonstrating superior communication (written and verbal), problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic, high level of organization, self-motivation, and ability to manage time based on priorities and deadlines.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, creativity, and ability to provide outstanding customer service and value to all partners.
