Your Role

Our offices are seeking a Tax Technician to become an integral part of the Domestic Tax team and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare both straightforward and intricate personal and corporate tax filings for a diverse clientele
  • Review basic tax filings completed by co-op students and junior team members
  • Liaise with the CRA and clients to address tax-related inquiries
  • Provide leadership within the team, engage in training, and mentor team members
  • Maintain effective communication with team members regarding ongoing progress updates
  • Cultivate direct relationships with clients to comprehend their tax history and deliver maximum value for their ongoing tax compliance requirements

Your Qualifications

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in preparing Canadian tax returns within a professional setting
  • You are familiar with tax preparation software, such as TaxPrep
  • You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous quality in your work
  • You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
  • You excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
