Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Accountant to join our Domestic Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with tax authorities on tax audits and appeals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business opportunities, driving growth and revenue.
  • Identifying and documenting tax filing positions, including risk analysis, to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Preparing and reviewing personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns, as well as other tax information forms, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Conducting research on tax issues and preparing memoranda or client letters, including writing reports/letters at the appropriate level for the intended audience.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Pursuing your CPA designation.
  • A strong interest in further developing your career within tax.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in public accounting.
  • A solid understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax compliance and planning.
  • A passion for teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
