Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Swerdna Services Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in heavy equipment using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Service attachments and working tools, and perform other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain equipment records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic.
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate.
  • Experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment:

Our work environment is physically demanding, with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a team environment.
