About the Role

Ausenco is a leading consulting company that delivers innovative solutions for complex projects. We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Burlington, Canada.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost-effective structural engineering designs, performing analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations, and conducting site visits to inspect existing structures. They will also be required to prepare material take-offs, complete tasks under minimal supervision, and supervise the work of designers on the project team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University, registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) within the Province of Ontario, and a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in the design of industrial and/or institutional type buildings. You will also need proficiency in design software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE, as well as experience with AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and Smart Plant.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also be able to work independently, as part of a team, and as part of a multidisciplinary group.
