Job Title: Withdrawal Management Support Worker

Job Summary:

Lakeridge Health is seeking a skilled professional to provide information, counseling, and crisis intervention to clients in need of withdrawal management and early recovery services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other professionals in the addiction and mental health program to assess clients with suicidal ideation, provide life skills development groups, and offer supportive counseling and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide motivational interviewing and referral services to clients
• Offer individual support to clients with barriers to treatment
• Conduct groups for life skills development and relapse prevention
• Liaise with emergency services and pharmacies for client needs
• Complete required data entry
• Comply with mental health and addiction standards
• Participate in clinical meetings and workgroups

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of addiction and mental health principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Criminal Investigation Reference check will be required for this position.
