Your expertise in mechanical building services, combined with your leadership skills, will enable you to effectively coordinate with internal and external teams, clients, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review project documentation, including design briefs and concept reports.
• Manage construction budgets and ensure compliance with provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project delivery, including meetings, presentations, and communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project procurement methodologies, recommending the most suitable approach for each project.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Requirements
• 5+ years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services.
• Current P.Eng. or ability to qualify within one year. Senior C.E.T. with equivalent experience and abilities will also be considered.
• Advanced working knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• LEED certification or experience implementing sustainable design is an asset.
