Position: Water Treatment Operations Specialist at WSP Canada
WSP Canada is seeking a knowledgeable Water Treatment Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our Water/Wastewater Process Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will take charge of overseeing the functionality of the water treatment facility, executing process engineering assignments, and contributing to various projects as required.
Primary Duties:
- Monitor and manage the operations of the water treatment facility
- Prepare and submit weekly operational reports
- Participate in safety meetings and comply with site safety protocols
- Coordinate with the construction and remediation teams
- Implement upgrades or modifications to the water treatment facility
- Oversee projects beyond the primary facility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in the design and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Strong communication abilities
- Possession of a valid driver's license
