Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at JAGARE RIDGE PHYSICAL THERAPY AND SPORTS INJURY CLINIC INC.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care
