About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Sukh Physiotherapy Ltd. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in assessing patients and developing treatment plans
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to patients
  • Develop information materials for patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans
  • Help physical therapists with patient care and treatment
  • Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to support patient care
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent judgement, accuracy, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to apply accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities
  • Ability to recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Ability to offer on-the-job training tailored to youth
