About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team at Motion. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth in the mobility and accessibility solutions market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized solutions to meet their mobility and accessibility requirements.
  • Sales and Service: Sell, install, and provide after-sale service and repair for mobility and accessibility devices, including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom and bedroom safety items.
  • Business Development: Research and identify new business opportunities, and develop and implement strategies to expand our client base and increase sales revenue.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, and be able to effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales and service role, preferably in the mobility and accessibility industry.
  • Construction Skills: Ability to use a range of tools and equipment, and experience in assembling, building, or repairing.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Empathy and Respect: Ability to engage clients in a meaningful way, and approach every interaction with respect, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Flexibility: Valid driver's license, and ability to travel to client homes, schools, and hospitals throughout the region in a company vehicle.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a clean criminal background check and bondable.
