Job Title: Roofer Helper

At Ontario Inc., we are seeking a skilled Roofer Helper to join our construction team. As a Roofer Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on roofing techniques and best practices.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors, at heights, and in dangerous conditions.
  • Construction specialization: industrial, commercial, and institutional, residential, and roofing.
