We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor III in Operations Management to join our team at the Dhillon School of Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, as well as contributing to the growth and development of our programs.
About the PositionThis is a full-time continuing teaching position at the Instructor III rank. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and assess courses, update course content, and participate in pedagogical and assessment improvements. They will also be involved in course and curriculum development, as well as active participation in School and Area governance.
Responsibilities- Teach and assess courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Update course content and participate in pedagogical and assessment improvements
- Contribute to course and curriculum development
- Participate in School and Area governance
- Other service activities such as committee service, participation in student-related activities, and participation in industry events
The successful candidate must have a minimum of a relevant Master's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related area. A commitment to and experience of teaching excellence at the post-secondary level is required. Online and hyflex teaching may be required.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates with additional interests in Sustainable Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and/or data analytics, and experience of teaching in these areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates with interests in working directly with organizations to support experiential learning, and particularly work-integrated learning, are also encouraged.
