Research Analyst Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Research team in Montreal as a Research Analyst Intern. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the overall success of our research initiatives, ensuring specific goals and objectives are executed and delivered in support of our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Research Analysts on fundamental research and ad hoc projects, including data organization, financial modeling, and report writing.
  • Understand and apply JFL's risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, adhering to the firm's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with a focus in business administration, finance, economics, or related fields.
  • Active member of the investment program within their school considered an asset.
  • Students with top grades and standing GPA (3.5/4.0) considered an asset.
  • Passion for investing.
  • Analytical and accounting skills.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Organized with attention to details.
