Description:
As a Horticulture Technician with Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our clients' outdoor spaces. Your expertise in horticulture will be essential in ensuring the health and beauty of gardens, parks, and other green areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conduct site assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop effective maintenance plans
• Construct and maintain gardens, including planting, pruning, and weeding
• Operate a variety of equipment, including power mowers, tractors, and hand tools
• Inspect and handle nursery stock, ensuring quality and safety
• Assist with landscape constructions and renovations
• Maintain accurate records of job time and material costs
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:
• Completion of college, vocational, or technical training in horticulture or a related field
• Horticulturist Trade Certification or Lawn Gardener Trade Certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in horticulture or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, including trees, shrubs, and perennials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Physically fit with strong stamina
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safe working procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions

Work Conditions:
• Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
• Ability to work in a variety of outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, dust, and cold
• Flexible working hours, including occasional weekend work
