After-School Instructor Opportunity

Snapology of New Brunswick is seeking a qualified After-School Instructor to join our team. As an After-School Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Snapology programs to elementary and middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead groups of students through curriculum-guided activities
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
  • Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos, and participating in face-to-face training sessions
Requirements:
  • Police check and Vulnerable Sector check must be current
  • 2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to work between 2-10 hours per week. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about education and working with children, we encourage you to apply.
