Toolmaker Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Toolmaker to join our team at Canada Stampings Ltd. as a key member of our manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces to ensure precision and quality.
- Quality Control: Test prototypes and production tools to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Maintenance and Repair: Repair machine tools and parts to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Certifications: Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification.
- Experience: 5 years or more in a related field.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
