Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage garage operations to optimize productivity utilizing VMS software.
- Provide insights and secure necessary estimates for facility maintenance during annual budget assessments.
- Engage in garage budgeting and monthly performance reviews in partnership with the divisional director.
- Ensure fleet adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and environmental protocols at all facilities.
- Review brake, safety, and preventive maintenance inspection documentation.
- Deliver monthly reports to the regional maintenance director.
- Participate in corporate training initiatives for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Professional certification in general or heavy mechanics.
- Hands-on experience in diesel mechanics.
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in team and fleet management.
- Familiarity with VMS or maintenance management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and personnel management abilities.
- Proficient in computer systems.
- Background checks and drug screenings are mandatory.
Work Environment:
- Mechanical maintenance garage and parts storage environment.
