About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweet Harbour Toy & Candy Co. Ltd. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including loading buspans and trays, operating dishwashers, and packaging take-out food.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, serving customers, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including cleaning products and food items.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, and positive attitude.
