Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweet Harbour Toy & Candy Co. Ltd. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Load buspans and trays with food and supplies.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and effectively.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
