Job Title: Property Manager

The Manitoba Government is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of assigned Manitoba Housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance and repair work, including creating scopes of work and conducting unit/building inspections.
  • Administer contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to diverse tenants and the general public.
  • Develop and manage budgets, reporting on expenditures and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent software to perform administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in property management, including maintenance and repair work, contract administration, and budget management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and apply acts, regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to supervise contractors and stakeholders.
Working Conditions:

Property Managers will be required to travel extensively, including to remote areas with limited cell service. They may also be required to work standby evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
