About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IBM i System Administrator to join our team at R2i. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our IBM i servers, telecommunications, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out the administration and global maintenance of IBM i servers, telecommunications, and security.
  • Monitor, analyze, and produce periodic reports on the performance of environments.
  • Perform infrastructure migrations, OS, and software upgrades.
  • Install and configure IBM licensed software.
  • Manage third-party software.
  • Integrate and optimize business processes.
  • Implement and support high availability solutions.
  • Manage replication, backups, and restores.
  • Develop tools to support operations.
  • Provide first and second-level technical support.
  • Write documentation and proposals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
  • A DEC, AEC, or BAC in network management or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of IBM i and Power environments.
  • Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written).
