About the Role

We're seeking a skilled programmer with a strong background in IBM iSeries, RPG IV, RPGLE, CLP, SQL, and Database: DB2 for i. As a Senior IBM i Programmer Analyst, you'll be responsible for production follow-ups, analysis, and resolution of production incidents, as well as participating in the development of improvements and projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evolve and maintain existing systems
  • Develop technical analyses
  • Implement improvements and projects
  • Write and execute unit and integrated test specifications
  • Write and update documentation
  • Analyze submitted issues and suggest fixes
  • Provide remote support outside of normal working hours
  • Apply best practices in software development
Requirements
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Systems, Information, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical programming experience on IBM iSeries, AS400, RPG IV, RPGLE, CLP, SQL, Database: DB2 for i
  • Knowledge of Maestro ERP is an asset
  • Experience with XML, HTML, and JavaScript is beneficial
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to make complex information accessible
  • Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written)
