About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at a premier client in Leduc, AB. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components per assembly drawings and bill of material, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing functional testing on assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components per assembly drawings and bill of material
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Perform functional testing on assemblies
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, machines, and equipment in compliance with manufacturing and engineering standards
  • Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent diploma OR 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Good mechanical background
  • Take ownership of safety, quality, and shop improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes as per business requirements
  • Basic Microsoft and computer knowledge to perform system transactions
