**Assembly Technician**
Levare Canada Ltd. is a recognized industry leader in the design, manufacturing, and deployment of Electric Submersible Pumps and Horizontal Pumping Systems aiding oil and gas production worldwide.
**Position Summary**:
The Shop Assembly Technician is responsible for performing a variety of technical job functions related to the assembly and testing of Multi-Stage Centrifugal Pumps and related components for use in our Electric Submersible Pumping (ESP) & Horizontal Pumping Systems (HPS) product lines.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Assemble, inspect and disassemble components of electric submersible and horizontal pumps.
- Test performance of completed pumping equipment to Levare Canada specifications.
- Maintain and update results related to various testing procedures.
- Read and understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and product manuals.
- Set up and operate equipment as per specifications and instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Additional duties as outlined by manager or supervisor.
**Position Qualifications**:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in assembly of mechanical equipment.
- Capable of reading various instruments and blue prints.
- Work attitude that puts Safety and Quality first.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shop environment with exposure to elements such as noise, dust and odors.
- Perform all job duties safely and according to HSE guidelines.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Artificial lift &/HPS & ESP equipment knowledge and experience will be considered an asset.
