Job Summary

UT TRANS INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Drive straight trucks and tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
    • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle condition and ensure safe operation.
  • Logistics and Administration
    • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
    • Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
    • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Hold a valid AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands
    • Work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions.
    • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

As a Truck Driver with UT TRANS INC., you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to travel extensively, including cross-border and international routes.
