About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Kamloops Kia. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our dealership, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff and assign duties, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Marketing and Sales: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales. Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
