About the Role:

TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Research Librarian to join our team. As a Research Librarian, you will be responsible for conducting research and synthesizing results for lawyers, clients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and provide accurate and timely results to support the firm's legal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments and updates in the legal field and inform lawyers and staff accordingly.
  • Design and deliver training programs for lawyers, law students, and staff on research methods, technologies, and resources available.
  • Support the national library team and assist with requested research projects.
  • Evaluate and maintain information services to ensure alignment with the firm's strategic direction.
  • Manage the local library collection and ensure it remains relevant and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar environment with legal knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
