Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Aquafit Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As an Aquafit Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality group fitness classes for adults, promoting a safe and supportive environment for participants to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging group fitness classes for adults, including Aquafit and other aquatic-based programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to members, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to develop and implement new programs and services
  • Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized coaching to members
  • Maintain accurate records of member participation and program evaluations

Requirements:

  • Certification in Aquatic Fitness and/or Group Fitness Instruction
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid/CPR-A certification
