Job Title: Fitness Instructor - Stratford Family YMCA

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team at the Stratford Family YMCA. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group fitness classes for adults, promoting a safe and supportive environment for participants to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-energy group fitness classes for adults, including aquafit, yoga, and other formats
  • Provide coaching and guidance to participants to help them achieve their fitness goals
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to create a comprehensive fitness program
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Requirements:
  • Group Fitness Certification (Aquafit, Yoga, MOSSA certification is an asset)
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for fitness
  • Ability to coach diverse groups of people with varying fitness levels
  • First Aid/CPR-A certification
