Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong background in wealth management and financial services. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of investment advisors and support staff to achieve sales targets and operational excellence

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
What You'll Do

As an Associate Branch Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales growth and revenue through effective sales management and coaching
  • Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Managing compliance and risk, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Providing coaching and development opportunities to team members
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CSC and CPH designations, with the ability to complete BM license within 3 months
  • Retail brokerage experience with a minimum of 2 years investment advisor experience or similar experience
  • Post-secondary education (college or university)
  • Proven experience in leading a team, coaching, and developing and motivating others
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to engage a diverse team that includes branch staff, middle office, and internal and external partners
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with challenging and sometimes complex situations to drive success
  • Decisive and results-driven
Preferred Qualifications

RBC Dominion Securities experience and WM operations and financial industry background are an asset.
