Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our team in Victoria, BC, with a focus on city, urban pipe laying, and road building. As a Pipelayer with Copcan Civil, you will be responsible for installing various pipe types in shored trenches, working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Experience with pipe installation in shored trenches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Certifications such as first aid, confined space, utility locating, and rigging are an asset
  • Ability to work with qualified apprentices and teach the trade

Candidate Qualifications

  • Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with basic power and construction tools
  • Valid BC driver's license (nice to have)
  • First aid certification (considered an asset)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills in English

Compensation

$24.00-$39.00 per hour
