Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a Pipelayer with Copcan Civil, you will be responsible for installing pipes in city, urban, and road building projects. If you have a strong background in pipe installation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working on a team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Experience with shored trenches and various pipe types
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Certifications such as first aid, confined space, utility locating, and rigging are an asset
  • Ability to work with qualified apprentices and teach the trade

Requirements

  • Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with basic power and construction tools
  • Valid BC driver's license (nice to have)
  • First aid certification (considered an asset)
  • Fitness to work, with the ability to see, hear, walk, stand, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Effective communication skills in English

Compensation

$24.00-$39.00 per hour
