Job Title: Energy Manager

At BGIS, we are seeking a highly skilled Energy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing energy projects, ensuring optimal building performance, and designing sustainability metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute energy projects to reduce carbon emissions and improve building performance.
  • Lead the development of energy-saving initiatives and strategies to meet corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with building technicians to ensure continuous commissioning and energy performance improvement of building systems.
  • Design and develop technical requirements for GHG reporting and analysis.
  • Support energy reporting and provide resources to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Community college diploma or university degree in engineering or energy and building system technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing energy and/or delivering energy retrofit projects in facilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience leading consulting teams and project management considered an asset.
