Accounting Co-op Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Co-op to join our team at Accelerate360 (Kelowna Office). As an Accounting Co-op, you will play a vital role in providing effective, timely, and efficient accounting and back-room services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Reconcile customer payments and/or supplier accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Research and follow up on any discrepancies or anomalies in sales data
  • Analyze sales data for completeness and report on any account anomalies
  • Monitor and track invoice compliance and accruals
  • Recommend process improvement suggestions for reconciliation and research practices
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a business program with an accounting focus
  • Proven intermediate Excel skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and operate new software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and research skills for reconciliations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
