Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Ramada by Wyndham Whitecourt.

Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and drywall repair
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as watering plants and cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of dependability and reliability
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Building Maintenance Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
