About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Trainee to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Assist in the preparation of structural designs, drawings, and specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Construction Management: Determine construction costs and quantities, and conduct studies and technical reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Field Work: Conduct investigations and inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation, and construction of structures.
  • Project Monitoring: Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in heavy civil projects.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
