Job Title: Structural Engineering Trainee

CIMA Canada Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Trainee to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to assist in structural design, prepare drawings and specifications, and conduct field work including investigations/inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation, and construction of structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in structural design and prepare drawings and specifications
  • Determine construction costs and quantities, and carry out studies and technical reports
  • Conduct field work including investigations/inspections for the design, retrofit, remediation, and construction of structures
  • Review progress and compliance of construction work in accordance with tender documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of structural engineering experience within heavy civil projects (water or wastewater projects are considered an asset)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
