Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 35 hours per week.
