We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at AJ Family Child Caregiver. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a loving and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, promoting positive behavior and development
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of independence and confidence
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging learning and fun
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods, promoting healthy sleep habits
- Supervise and care for children, providing a safe and nurturing environment
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering comfort and support when needed
- Criminal record check
- Efficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
