Position Overview

As a **Construction Assistant** at **ZOOM CONSTRUCTION LTD**, you will play a vital role in supporting various construction activities. This position requires a commitment to safety and teamwork while performing essential tasks on-site.

Education Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
  • Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as needed.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting operations on construction sites.
  • Support framing activities, including erecting walls and constructing roofs.
  • Level ground to meet fine grade specifications.
  • Help with the demolition of structures when required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Manage clean-up of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
  • Operate or assist in operating machinery and equipment used in construction.
