Job Title: Construction Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at KRISTHAN CONSTRUCTION INCORPORATED. As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Job Summary:

The Construction Assistant will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry and be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliability and punctuality
Working Conditions:

The Construction Assistant will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
